A hidden gem for sure. Not many people I know have been here. It's super lowkey below a apartment building. It smells so nice entering the space. The vibe is very clean and minimal. It's definitely third wave boba. Very high quality tea's here. The drinks are made to order. With premium ingredients. I love the oolong milk tea's here. I come every few months when I'm in the area. The drink is just too good not to try. If you want a higher quality product and somewhere that isn't too crazy busy. Bako tea house is a must

Tea was OK, the place was very empty and her tea was made very quickly. But there was nothing overly special about our drink. It was just good.

One of my (new) go-to for boba in OC. Flavorful tea (the oolong series - both phoenix and roasted are good) reminds me of Orobae (no longer open). Boba is done correctly (right amount of chewiness) for me and service is efficient. Come try if you're in the area

It's an artisan tea shop that focuses more on quality tea than desserty, trendy stuff. The teas are all amazing and you really get to taste the richness and slight bitterness of all the flavors. I'd recommend 25% sweetness if you're here for the tea flavor. The servers I've usually gotten are quite stand offish and not super friendly but still polite. Wish I could get some more conversation about recommended items and options and such. Drinks: 9/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Service: 4/10 Value: 7/10

This is a very cute spot that gives Japanese vibes? I'm probably wrong, but I love the overall design. The front desk, lighting, decor, the way the menu is displayed, and decoration are all something I would even want in my home. They've got seating outside so if you want to study/work this a nice cozy spot. Hayden was very helpful in deciding my drinks. I even got to smell some of the actual tea leave they uses for their drinks. I love how they offer that to give a better idea of what you're getting. I got the Phoenix Oolong Tea Latte and it already looks tasty just by the looks of it. If I'm in the area again I would definitely come here to try their other drinks. I just took a sip of my drink and it's perfect for my taste at 50% sweet. The boba is cooked to perfection and it's at a great portion. The only issue I might have are their lids, but hopefully they figure that out. Some of the drinks almost opened just by lifting them out of the bag. BAKO TEA HOUSE is a must try.

BAKO Tea House is located in a small and nice plaza. The longer than 30 min parking can be found in next door garage. The tea house has amazing tea scent when I came in. The decors are minimalistic. I ordered the rose tea latte with 25% sugar, boba and no ice. I think the rose tea is fragrant with strong rose taste. The boba is al dente and sweet enough but not overly sweet like brown sugar boba. 5/5 The wintermelon latte is also unique and flavorful. 5/5. You cannot go wrong with wintermelon. The jasmine green tea has strong jasmine flavor as well. 5/5 Overall this place has high quality drinks for affordable price. I paid $7 for my rose latte.

My husband and I are always are the search for a good boba Tea place that serves drinks with a good strong Tea favor and good boba. And we found Bako. We absolutely loved their drinks since you can truly taste the Tea and had one of the softest bobas in O.C. Parking may be a little difficult due to heavy traffic in the other stores, but not too bad overall.
